''Look for aromas of cherries, with a nice spiciness of cinnamon on the finish. Juicy mouth-feel with savoury tannins,'' 95 Points, Luca Gardini
Gold Medal Winning Vintage 2017: New Zealand International Wine Show 2019
Aged 9/12 months in the French and American barriques, Amaranta is ruby red with garnet reflections; opulent fruit, the bouquet is intense, fruity, persistent, with notes of dried flowers, spice, licorice, marasca cherries. The palate is stylish, velvety, almost creamy. Complex, elegant, well balanced with a long aftertaste. Montepulciano D’Abruzzo. Very limited.
