A blend of 60% Chardonnay and 40% Welschriesling. A sweet wine with residual sugar of just over 70g per litre. Fermented and matured in stainless steel tanks for 11 months.

There is no definitive history / linage for the grape. ‘Welschriegoingg’ literally means 'Romanic Riesling' and indeed this is the common name throughout the regions in which it is grown. Unusually it is quite the Central European specialist.
