Domaine Decelle-Villa is the love child of passionate winemakers Pierre-Jean Villa and Olivier Decelle. Villa, who had already established himself in classic producing regions of northern Rhône, had a dream to bring his wine making expertise to Burgundy. He met his soulmate in Decelle, saviour of Jean Faure in Saint-Emilion and Mas Amiel in southern France.

They shared a common vision of vinification: to make great Chardonnay and Pinot Noir that reflects the great terroirs of Nuits-Saint-George in Burgundy. This exciting new venture has proved a success due to the magnum of experience and knowledge from both men.

As with all of Decelle’s ventures, the quality of soil is a vital ingredient to the quality of the wine, and are all managed biodynamically.
