Musto Carmelitano Maschitano Rosso Aglianico del Vulture 2014
Previous Next
''Medium bodied, fleshy and fruity, Plenty of chamois-like tannin, and a bit of new leather, floral and savoury on a satisfying finish.'' 90 Points, Gary Walsh, The Wine Front
''Aglianico is such a good grape, and most often when I taste it, I think on how it could only really come from Italy. This is organically farmed, hand picked, and sees no oak. Red and black fruits, spice, volcanic rocks and sweet balsamic glaze, maybe some violets. Medium bodied, fleshy and fruity, but in that suave kind of minerally way that good Aglianco often is. Plenty of chamois-like tannin, and a bit of new leather, floral and savoury on a satisfying finish. Such a good crunchy fun thing to drink.'' 90 Points, Gary Walsh, The Wine Front
