With viticultural origins going back to 1626 Trimbach not only makes some of the finest wines in Alsace but is undoubtedly one of the world's greatest Riesling, Pinot Gris and Gewurztraminer producers.
This is top grade Savagnin. Note the 'Ouille' tag denotes that the barrels have been topped up, that is, not made in the ultra-traditional oxidative style. An organic / natural wine.

The floral bouquet has overtones of elderflower and pear, developing into aromas of yellow-fleshed fruits such as apricot, pineapple and melon. It is deep, mellow, soft and well-rounded.
The domain has nearly 12ha of Petit Chablis, classified as such because the limestone tends to be the younger Portlandian soils. Pierrick is convinced that his largest parcel of Petit really ought to be classed as Chablis!
There is only a single wine produced at this estate and less than 2,000 cases at that. Verdejo is an ancient, indigenous variety to Rueda and has nothing to do with Verdello.
