The first palate is opulent, persistent and very harmonious. This is a vintage where freshness prevails in notes of green apple, citrus and salinity. Elegant, as always, this wine evolves superbly.

Tormaresca is owned by famous Tuscan wine family Antinori. As many wine lover's know too well this family only understands one approach to business - 100% devotion to quality. 100% Chardonnay is relatively rare from Puglia but this is a great example.
Now here's something genuinely interesting. The estate of Weingut Julg, located in the southernmost village in Pfalz, straddles the German-France border. What this means is that half the vines are in Pfalz, the other half in Alsace!
