100% Welschriesling Fermented and matured in stainless steel tanks Pale straw with green hues, grapefruit, citus-friuts , hint of exotic notes, musk-melon, elderflower , on the palate beautiful fresh fruit, well balanced with lively acidity.
There is no definitive history / linage for the grape. ‘Welschriegoingg’ literally means 'Romanic Riesling' and indeed this is the common name throughout the regions in which it is grown. Unusually it is quite the Central European specialist with a strong presence is Croatia, Hungry and Romania. It can also be found, albeit sparingly, in northern Italian regions such as Trentino where it goes by the name ‘Riesling Italico’.
