In terms of the palate, what Albillo brings in texture, Macabeo counters in zesty, racy lift. The resulting wine is just so damn delicious; pulpy, savoury, yet seductive with a smoky, mineral, salty freshness from woe to go. Very easy to drink. We might call this Isart's blanca para beber, but that would probably be selling it short. It has the depth and texture to work with most dishes. Importer's notes
