Bernard Baudry Les Granges Chinon Cabernet Franc 2018

"This is simply astonishing. The first clue is the colour, opaque, the wine eagerly coating the inner surface of the glass. The nose is all sun-dried summer fruits and confit blackcurrants, which continues through onto the palate as a creamed substance, dark and toasted. There are dense fruit complexities here, of black plum, damson, black olives and violets, all wrapped up in a velvety and creamed finish. It has some length too, and also acidity. This is the most striking Les Granges I have ever encountered." 93 points, Chris Kissack, The Wine Doctor

It's packed with fleshy, floral-noted, purple fruit aromas and flavours and finishes with crunchy freshness and mouth-filling perfume. Just what you want from this type of thirst-quencher.
