"375ml bottles work out as just over one glass of wine per person, which really is the perfect amount for mid week drinking and ideal if you’re having a glass by yourself".

We reckon this is the best 6-pack offer of half bottles you'll see all year.  There's a mixture of big brands and small producers.

This European Red Half Bottle 6-pack contains one bottle each of the following wines:

Peppoli Chianti Classico 2017

Ruby red in color, the Peppoli is characterized by notes of cherries and raspberries, and the aromatic profile is completed by nuances of violets and vanilla. On the palate, the wine is tasty and balanced with lively acidity, a characteristic of Sangiovese-based wines. The fruity notes and the spices of the oak dominate the finish and aftertaste. The wine is soft in its tannins and long and lingering on the finish..

Domaine Faiveley Pinot Noir 2016
This wine has fresh, red-fruit aromas on the nose, which appear again on the palate. It has rich and very ripe substance, with fine round tannins. It’s a very well-structured Pinot Noir.

Guigal Côtes-du-Rhône Rouge 2015
"As usual, the 2015 Cotes du Rhone features a majority of Syrah, largely sourced from the western side of the Rhône. Spicy, peppery, hickory aromas lead off, adding berries up front and then moving into darker fruit and more savory notes of black olive by the finish. This medium to full-bodied wine finishes long and silky, avoiding any of the vintage's hard tannins, while still boasting the concentration to drink well through at least 2023." 91 Points.  Joe Czerwinski, Wine Advocate

Chateau Teyssier Grand Cru Classé Bordeaux 2016
"A forward crowd-pleaser with loads of freshness, ready dark red fruits, licorice and cherries. Drink it soon or age it for a few years. The wine was produced from blending 70% Merlot and 30% Cabernet Franc."

Château Loudenne Cru Bourgeois Bordeaux 2012
"With vineyards close to the Gironde, this is a well-situated château. This 2012 is one of the best from the property for several years, giving ripe tannins, balanced wood and good black currant acidity. It's not for long-term aging, so drink from 2017."  Wine Enthusiast

Torres Coronas (Tempranillo, Cabernet) 2016
"A sturdy rendition, the beautifully lifted bouquet shows dark fruit, espresso, olive and toasted almond characters. The palate is plump and generous with excellent fruit intensity backed by attractive spicy/savoury undertones, leading to a lingering firm finish. The wine is bold and structured, making it a fabulous wine to partner rich meaty dishes. At its best: now to 2021" 93 points.  Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Nov 2018
