Of course, Burgundy is the homeland of pinot noir, but consider the region where these two wines come from correspond to the conditions of Burgundy and many of the methods used in Burgundy are also used by Ziereisen. If you haven't tried German pinot noir, then you can expect something more savoury and “Burgundian”, especially compared to many Australian Pinot Noirs.
